hellz yeah!

I'd heard awhile ago the Hellz Bellz was teaming up with Reebok to design a shoe, but at the time I didn't know what to make of the collaboration. The news of the partnership, and especially the design of the footwear, was kept on the low, so much in fact I'd forgotten they'd even created a shoe to begin with. But alas the Hellz Bellz x Reebok shoe is real, and it's not at all what I expected. Featuring a fold down flap displaying a bit of Hellz propaganda, stud detailing, and a set of interchangeable shoe strings (black, white, neon yellow), the sneaker is definitely a step in a wonderful direction for Hellz Bellz. If you'd like to get your hands on these, they'll be available in limited quantities beginning November 27th at select retailers, as well as the Hellz online store. [whatthehellz]

I haven't purchased a pair of sneakers in a really long time. The last pair I bought were the neon yellow Nike Dunks created for NYLON Magazine, and as much as I love them, I haven't been inspired by a pair of kicks since then. This is tragic for a person who loves sneakers about as much as I love Givenchy (that's a lot of love by the way). Nike dropped the City Pack recently at 21 Mercer in New York, paying homage to 4 iconic American cities: Long Beach, Chicago, New York, and my favorite Atlanta. I want! [21Mercer]

Nike Sportswear welcomed a new Air Max 1 Premium inspired by Brazilian state Pernambuco. In my opinion the best part of the shoe other than the ill clear sole (haven't seen that in awhile) is the quote on the back of the shoe: "...Esta Manis No Mesmo Lugar" which means "one step ahead and you are no longer in the same place". Nice!

The above question is something that's been on my mind for a couple of days now. Nevermind the fact that this post was suppose to be about the stud to the left, a one Ed Westwick aka Chuck Bass from Gossip Girl, but whatever. The K Swiss subject seems more appealing than gushing about a man that I'll never meet, but like to look at. A lot...

By now I'm sure many of you know that Eddie Boy here is doing a little work for the K Swiss brand by being the face of their remastered classic shoe, which leads me to ask two important questions.

1) Who wears K Swiss anymore?
2) When was the exact moment K Swiss became wack?

Personally, I haven't worn K Swiss since my junior year of high school. The shoe use to be a staple back in the day, but seriously, what happened? Was it the emergence of the Nike Dunk? The evolution of Adidas? I have no idea, but I'd like to find out. I'm wondering if the brand is believing that putting Ed Westwick's beautiful face on their advertisments will turn it around. Do they really believe there will be hypebeasts lined up for two days waiting for a pair like some of us waited for the Yeezy's. I'm not so sure.

For the past year or so I've developed a facination and deep love for all things Lanvin. After meeting D.A. from Chester French and seeing him sporting some Lanvin shades last summer, I've been consumed with this brand. Being a sneaker fan and avid consumer, I'm always looking for new trends to catch my eye, and Lanvin makes kicks you cannot ignore.

Keri Hilson is a proclaimed sneaker head, and as of late I'm seeing that maybe she's the celebrity sneaker freaker we've all been waiting for. So far I've seen her in Jordans, the coveted Air Yeezys, and even the JS Winged kicks that make me and just about everyone I know drool on sight. I like how whenever I see her in photo's she doesn't ALWAYS have stillettos on, like some celebutards we all know (ahem...camel hump...pon de forehead).

Awhile ago I heard about the Nylon Magazine x Nike Sportswear collaboration and it made me choke on my coffee with excitement. Then I started seeing the kicks on super awesome people like Leigh Lezark of the Misshapes during fashion week and I knew I had to figure out a way to get my grubby little paws on them. In the May issue of Nylon (out on stands now) the magazine has a full spread of the kicks on some of the coolest people like Peaches Geldof and lego master's Dee & Ricky (above). The shoes drop June 1st in select Nike retailers and Urban Outfitters. In addtion to the shoes Nylon has also created a nylon windrunner. Can I get a amen?!

Being that I'm a connoisseur/ crackhead for all things sneaker related, the news of Nike's Air Stab model being available to customize online via the Nike website, and in the 21 Mercer Street iD Studio in New York, IS HUGE NEWS.

Nike’s Air Stab runner makes it debut at the 21 Mercer iD Studio. Much like the previous Air Force 1 interpretations, the Air Stab receives a wealth of custom options. Chosen materials include denim, mesh, distressed leather, patent leather and even printed vinyl. Of course, the kicks are given a slew of panel variations and laces as well. Sneaker boutique Atmos and Reebok teamed up to create these exclusive Sir Jams. It's got 4 different colorways as shown in the picture above. I like them because of the contrast of the pastel and vibrant colors each shoe holds. Is it just me or do a lot of kicks this season have pastel colors? Everyone's damn foot is gonna look like an Easter egg this spring/summer. Yeesh

Converse can do no wrong in my book. I've been a Chuck Taylor fan for most of my life, and will continue to rock these until I die. Ask my friend Katya...she knows. Chucks with jeans, Chucks with a dress...doesn't matter.

These Chucks are slated to drop in September. Their basically just like the classic All Star model with the exception of the translucent logo. The colorways are Charcoal, Royal Blue and Chocolate Brown.

nike terminator high premium.

Japanese lifestyle brand SLY teamed up with Nike to create this batch of blogworthy Terminator Highs. Apparently these babies are only slated to drop in Asia. Just another reason for me to move out of the states!
If anyone thinks they'll find themselves in Asia in about a month, let me know so I can send you some money to get these for me...both pair. You think I'm playing, but I'm SO NOT.

Yay goooodddd day!
Today's the first day I could hold down a smidgen of food since Friday (thanks so much Eat n Park. Smh). Checked my email and found this little gem from my friend who happens to be obsessed with Nylon magazine, and I wanted to share it with you all =).

Nylon has teamed up with Nike Sportswear and created a collection of neon colored high tops that makes me want to scream with delight. Being that this is Fashion Week the magazine has given a couple pairs of these shoes to a few magnificent ladies to sport around NYC in and create some hype (think Leigh Lezarkin Bryant Park). Being that this is the 10th Anniversary of Nylon being in circulation, these spectacular won't be available for commoners to buy until April, which is the end of the mags anniversary.

Is anyone else excited about this or is it just me?
