I've recently become obsessed with scouring thrift stores and local jewelry boutiques searching for one of a kind accessories. My collection of goods has multiplied in the past year because 1) I can never say no to anything, and 2) my rebellious nature doesn't take to kindly to cheap, plain jewelry. Last night after my required marathon around my Tumbler blogroll I stumbled onto this piece of heaven. The Jewel Heritage eyeball ring and accompanying necklace are just the outlandish accessories I get suckered into purchasing. There isn't much information on where to get the rings, but the designers have a lovely crackbook page busting at the seams with pictures of their creations and a email address I've been stalking for the last week. Lord knows when I find out the price range this ring will be in my possession pronto.

I've never been a huge fan of Barbie, but since I'm highly amused by the absurd, this practically had me falling out of my clothes with excitement (which isn't that hard to do, but whatever...). Margaux Lange creates jewelry around the parts of girls best friend, Barbie. Using every possible body part to created earrings, rings, and necklaces, the pieces may be a bit hefty in price, but they're one of a kind and incredibly perfect. I found these beauties on Etsy courtesy of my friend Sarah and her intense fascination with craziness. I'm in love! Especially with the heart necklaces with Barbies boobs right in the middle. Yes, please!

Sorry I've been a bit M.I.A. sweet readers, but my break was needed. You know how you get so wrapped up in one aspect of life and don't even realize that the other parts are going to shit? Well I've been learning how to balance ALL the parts of my world to make room for everything, but I needed a small break from the interwebs in order for me to get my mind right. If that makes any sense at all....

Anyway I'm back, and with me being back in the loop, I decided to post this picture of one of my favorite bloggers Caroline and the details of an outfit of her's she recently posted. Details are very important to me, especially because my daily wardrobe consists of jeans and tee's. To make up for the lazy outfits I like to add massive amounts of odd jewelry and other little pieces that make what I'm wearing a bit more interesting.

I WANT THOSE SHOES! I love Comme des Garçon for no other reason than their innovation in design. They send the most amazing things down their runway,stuff that may seem outlandish to some, but to me are strong creative statements. Those shoes are a perfect example of that creative statement. Now if I could just get my hands on $700...Hmmm.

Affordable footwear and accessory retailer Aldo has teamed up with Swarovski Crystals to design a collection of sparkly jewels just in time for winter 2009. Items ranging from bangles, necklaces, rings, all the way to headbands will retail from $40 to about $180. I love Aldo for their accessories, I can almost always find something I like that's reasonably priced and incredibly long lasting. I have much better luck buying from there than somewhere like Forever XXI. Every time I buy costume jewelry from XXI it has a way of falling apart before I get it home... [refinery29]

gas'D: if loving you is wrong. i don't wanna be right.

Love is SO real.

I've only been in a consumer relationship with Gas'D for a short time, but I'm already certain their collection of jewelery is going to be a staple in my closet during the coming months. I love how simply their designs can be, and yet are still able catch your eye. Their attention to detail is very admirable, you can tell each item is hand crafted with love. Aside from all the detail and beauty, each piece is actually affordable. I have yet to see a piece above $100 (the highest I could find was $89), even though I wouldn't be surprised if they were selling their pieces for much more.

When I find a good thing I stick too it, I'm a creature of habit. I've got my friends, even my sister on this, so you should just come along too and LOVE Gas'D like the rest of us.

PS. Dear Gas'D: If you ever need, like, a jewelery tester (taste tester, but with jewelery) I'm SO your girl...
