nyfw: yigal azrouël - spring 2010.

Ripped thin jersey separates, cropped leather jackets, abstract prints, and asymmetrically cut bathing suits are just a portion of what made up the Yigal Azrouël Spring offering today at Bryant Park. The collection showed mostly muted shades, lots of gray, white, and black, with pops of orange, mustard yellows, and navy blue. I'm a big fan of Yigal's jersey pieces, but some are saying this collection is reminiscent of Preen's Spring/Summer collection 2009. I don't see it. I actually think this collection is a bit more wearable and realistic than Preen SS 09 [pictures via style.com]
