sophie by xavier veilhan.
In the 1970's inspired bistro, Germain located in Paris, French artist Xavier Veilhan created Sophie, his gigantic sculpture spanning the entire two floors of the restaurant. Sophie is a odd figure in the diner designed by Iranian architect India Mahdavi, but 'ts so awesome to look at. Being that my ADD sometimes gets the best of me, and Sophie is a bright shade of yellow that screams 'LOOK AT ME', I'm pretty sure if I ever got a moment in Paris, I'd visit Germain not for the food, but for the art.
