Well apparently according to the visual interpretation by Vancouver photographer Dina Goldstein, the happily ever after presumption didn't work out too well. Dina places the fairy tale princesses in modern, realistic, and not so flattering situations. The project came about after Goldstein observed her daughter and friends developing an interest in Disney Princesses, causing the artist to reflect on the illusion that these women are vulnerable and almost always saved by a handsome Prince.
