I've always been aware of Amber Rose's obvious beauty, but like most people, I tend to question what I see on camera. Makeup, photoshop and endless other tools are used on a daily basis to create the illusion that celebrities are flawless. The fact remains that they aren't, they have facial flaws and body insecurities just like the rest of us. Amber Rose is not this type of celeb.

These are UNTOUCHED pictures of Amber from a recent drop by visit to her new modeling agency Ford Models. I knew she was pretty, but good Lord. She's kinda flawless...

I'm not going to lie, I still think she's just going to be in advertising editorials where they can fix her and catalogs, those thighs ain't made for runway. Sorry...

Can someone please explain to me to phenomenon that is Lady Gaga? Is she so hard pressed to be the new age Madonna, that she allows herself to look EXTRA ridiculous all the time? Look at the eyebrows. Please LOOK AT THEM. I'm a Gaga fan partly because her music makes me giggle like a school girl who heard a bad word for the first time, and partly because sometimes she's rather amusing to look at. The amusing part is reigning supreme at this point in time. If you know anything about Gaga, you know she was pants less, because she's suffering from an pants allergy, but I won't post those pictures. If you want to see ass...Google it.

Hey look everyone, its Rihanna's nipple! This weekend Princess Glowstick, I mean, Rihanna, pulled a Lil Kim. As much as I love this girl, she never ceases to amaze me. A friend of mine pointed out that when Lil Kim pulled a pastie move at the Grammy Awards eons ago, everyone was shitty bricks for months, but Princess of all things 'trendy' does it, and I don't hear a peep. Hmmm... Is it because it's a different time and things are more acceptable? No, I think it's got something to do with the pedestal everyone places Rihanna on. Myself included (sometimes). People see her as a trend setter and a visionary of fashion, so when she pulls out her boob it's not a hood rat statement, its an emerging trend.

And now in the coming months I will count how many breasts I see and blame it on her.

easter has come early.

kanye west's jump off, i mean love interest amber rose was seen sporting her normal buzz cut this time with a turquoise hue added. not sure if i'm absolutely loving this on her, she kind of looks like an Easter egg, but her initial look DID have to grow on me, so we'll see. i have to admit, her skin looks amazing, really digging her glow, but dear Lord does she love her some spandex...

Recently celebrities, and wannabe celebrities have been taking to shaving the sides of their heads to appear edgy or cutting edge. Nothing wrong with this at all, do what you want, but it takes much more than a hair cut to give you some edge. It takes a certain attitude or swagger, for lack of a better word, to boost your ratings in the fashion forward department.

Give Respect Where it's Due.

I know that there are a lot of Rihanna fans all over the world. I happen to be one of them. I love her style (or whoever dresses her), her hair, and the confidence she exudes whenever we see her in the public eye. Even though I love love LOVE to look and see what RiRi wears everyday, I have the sense to know that she didn't get that style all by her lonesome.

In a recent New York Post blog, someone made the ignorant assumption that Kelis was jacking Rihanna's hair style. WRONG! If the author had paid attention to past pop culture, one would notice that Rihanna's entire style is derived from Kelis in many ways.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with mimicking someones style and making it your own. I think Rihanna has made rock n roll high fashion. But it makes me angry when people don't recognize where her inspiration comes from. People like Kelis, Grace Jones, Madonna, Courtney Love, and even Fefe Dobson have paved the way for Rihanna to dress the way she dresses and for it to be acceptable in the public eye.

One of my favorite quotes is "Don't get angry when people steal an original idea. If it's original you'll have to ram it down their throat..." Well Rihanna is not an original idea. She's a nice one, but not an original one. Kelis had to ram it down our throats, and Rihann is obviously benefiting from that.

Jeremy Scott and Adidas have dropped some preview pictures of J. Scott's Fall 09' collection for the sneaker brand. I must say, this stuff reminds me of the late 80's early 90's something fierce. But I love it none the less.
From the looks of it the line is only going to be available at selected retailers across the globe. Just another reason for me to dip out of the states and never come back. Sigh...

Fergie was at a Nordstrom department store this weekend promoting her new shoe collection (insert blank stare). Not sure what type of Fergalicious creations the line holds, but something in my soul tells me I'll be less than impressed. What I am impressed with is her hair color. It looks really nice on her. I can't tell you how many times I have heard that Amber 'Kanye's ball tickler' Rose is every man's dream. WTF?! Whats even more bizarre are the reasons. The fuckery is listed below.
1) She's thick. Period
2) She's 'fresh/fierce/swagtastic'
3) She's got a pretty face
4) She's been with a woman therefore she's daring in the bedroom
5) She's a former stripper therefore she's flexible in the bedroom
6) She's EXTRA thick

I'm just wondering if this is what I need to be in order to get a man. Smh...

I'm not one to judge (Ok maybe a little, and only when it's funny), but lets face it, Kanye's latest arm candy is in fact a reformed stripper. A well known one at that. My first instinct in learning of her and actually seeing her, was to scream HOE at the top of my lungs but then I thought for a moment. Who am I to say whether or not she's appropriate for Martin Louis the King Jr? I guess if he finds her worthy of her time, she must be special.
The more I look at her, the more I see her beauty. She's got an amazing body and a nice little style about her, so do wtf you want Kanye. No hate here...

On a sidenote though. Does anyone else think her style is influenced by the fashionista Kanye West, or was this just something she came up with on her own? Hmmmm...
