Or maybe it was just this editorial and the styling that made you so appealing? Whatever the case, I will be watching you from the stands when you blow up in the States in 2014 (because the US is late for EVERYTHING).

Anyway, the reason I'm posting these photos of Tilda Swinton is because I'm a bit obsessed with her. Well, her face anyway. No, I take that back, I love all of her. Every bit. She's flawless. I've argued with many in defense of my undying devotion to Swinton, mostly because people tend to think she's a bit quirky, for lack of a better word. Well, I think she's perfection. A bit odd, and completely androgynous, but I believe that's a big part of her allure; she's not like everyone else. But then again, why in the hell would she want to be like everyone else. I know I wouldn't.

Fashion156 has the best editorials, I swear. Their much fun to look at and incredibly inspiring. The magazine itself is one of my favorites, I find some great ideas for blog posts, and always seem to learn something new whenever I make my daily trips to their fantastic blog. the power of movement: danze

I've always been in intrigued about the power behind basic movement and the emotion someone can invoke simply from the way they move their body. Something as simple as walking down the street, sitting straight in a chair can change the way clothes look on a body, and can also change how people look at you. Recently I've been trying to be more aware of how I move, when I move, and how I feel when this movement happens. This editorial, courtesy of Amica Italy's March 2010 issue, is obviously inspired by movement and has prompted me to wonder: although are clothes are beautiful, how beautiful can they be if we don't walk with the confidence in them?

The question may be a bit insignificant, but this editorial isn't. It's beautiful.

It's kind of surreal seeing McQueen's work in print. Especially because Spring 2010 is probably the last collection we'll get the opportunity to enjoy. It makes his craftsmanship and artistry that much more impressive. [idealife]

I'm really glad to see their tulle gowns on crack in the pages of Dazed & Confused, quite possibly one of the only magazines appropriate enough to showcase how unique their creations are. For their upcoming issue Ten Magazine decided to drape Kinga Rajzak in all things couture. Valentino, Chanel, Dior, Balenciaga, and of course Givenchy. Last time I checked Demi Moore was about 70. 50? Ok 47. She's 47 years old, and other than Sharon Stone she's the only other "seasoned" actress that makes me want to put down the french fries and bust out my dusty yoga mat. She's on the cover of W Magazines December 2009 issue looking fresh faced and photo-shopped. Other than the obvious fact that she looks great for her age, she also looks amazing in a Balmain dress fresh off the Spring 2010 Paris runway. All I have to say is yabba dabba do! Natalie Portman is so amazing. Besides the fact that she prefers gangsta rap over any other genre of music, and that she herself has master the craft of lyricism by having her buddy Jay Z coach her, I'm just completely mesmerized by the fact that Hollyhood hasn't changed who she is. This is just about the most entertaining editorial I've seen in a long time. Full of color and texture, it's basically Ashish on crack. I love it when I can point out runway looks in editorials, it's like finding Waldo. The editorial is from online magazine Fashion156, something I discovered a couple of days ago. New Faces by Thierry Le Gouès for French Revue De Modes reminds me of the Peaches song 'The Boys Wanna be Her'. Peaches is one of those artists that paints a pictures of pretty women in their rawest state. She's also on my iPod in heavy rotation. Needless to say. I love her. [fashiongonerogue]

kristen stewart interview magazine november 09.

I never really got everyone's obsession with Kristen Stewart. Other than her role in films like 'The Panic Room' (I love Jodie Foster), I didn't have much to go on in order to speak highly of her acting skills. I'll be honest, I saw Twilight a year late via the internet, thought it was weird and her performance was awkward. For me Kristen Stewart has always been this teen starlet and seeing as I don't pay much attention to those, she had never been on my radar. She's in the newest edition of Interview Magazine sporting a mullet and looking exceptionally awesome. I still think she's awkward, but on the bright side, she takes a remarkable photo. Right? I'm currently involved in a love/hate relationship with Amber Rose. On the one hand I want to love her, I want to be able to give her my heart, I want to be able to melt and cheer her on in every aspect of her rising career. But on the other hand, I don't know, it's hard. I want to laugh at her endeavor to become a runway model, and at the people who forget that her sudden rise to the top had everything to do with who grabs her ass on a regular basis (cough Kanye cough).

When I get into these tug of war battles concerning the phenomenon that is Amber Rose something comes along to push me closer to one side or the other. The last time I got into this conflict it was over her runway debut, which to me seemed like something that would have NEVER happen if she wasn't the ball tickler of choice to Kanye West. That pushed me to the hate side. Now after seeing these pictures from a recent editorial shoot with Amber as the star, I'm being forced to love her. When I say love, I mean LOVE.
